July 30,2008 - Mission Report

Hi Everyone,

I have just returned from Mexico where we have established some new friendships. We pray that God will give the increase as we strive to plant the seeds that He has so graciously gave us.

My last day there I was discussing with one of the Pastors that God has given us a message to deliver. That being that Jesus Christ is the Savior and that He died for our sins and He rose again the third day and ascended on High at the right hand of God. That message was to be delivered by the method given to us. His Holy Word and we must not deviate from this method or we will see our ministry destroyed.

We must deliver this message by His means and that is in the power of the Holy Spirit. Without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit we are of no effect. Give God the glory! We must preach this truth in love and teach with all patience. I also was explaining to him that we are saved by His Sovereign Grace only and that grace will open our eyes to His Holy Word that will bring about saving faith in Jesus Christ for God's glory.

I done all this in Spanish. An uneducated man like myself being used by our Holy God. Go figure. Just goes to show you that He is all powerful.

I also visited with Tom & Julie Riggle and was able to give them some more material to give out. They are like an extension of our ministry. They go into Mexico often and distribute material that we were able to provide them because of your faithful giving that was laid upon your heart by God. Pastor Arturo has been busy. He loves to study and has been helping me meet others that will be able to join in on the battle against bad theology and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let us all strive to preach and teach truth.

Pastor Sanchez and his brother Savie have grown so much spiritually. We have fallen in love with these men and are so thankful to God for the increase that He has given us in their ministry. More About Our Purpose

The main purpose of our ministry is to glorify our Holy God by helping equip the saints of Central America to preach His Holy Word. By them doing this some may come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and give Him the glory that only He deserves. Our qualifications for this ministry
comes only from Him and we can do nothing apart from His Sovereign Grace.

This ministry is His and He is the one that gets the glory for all the good works that comes about through Brother's Keeper Ministries. Our ministry only exists to glorify His Holy Name! We believe worship comes before missions and any other way leaves the Lord Jesus Christ out of our service.

Then the ministry becomes about us and we want to avoid this in all that we do. Our job is the great commission and Jesus told us in His Word that He would build His Church. We have no desire to compete with our Lord Jesus Christ. We do our best to make sure each Pastor has a library so that he can be prepared to teach his congregation a doctrine that honors our Holy God.

We also help them prepare articles of belief, doctrinal statements and other statements that are so desperately needed. This is where our heart is and we pray that God will bring up a people from these men that will glorify Him. We have so many other things that we have been allowed to do by our Lord, but there is not enough room on this small site to contain it all. We hope that you will find this site to be a site that exalts the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and would love to hear from you.
